Pine Warbler In The Pine Forest

Get outdoors and see what nature is bringing to you, right outside your door. This is prime time birdwatching time, as migrating birds make their way from their southern wintering grounds to their nesting grounds in the northern regions of the United States and Canada.

I was out birding yesterday afternoon at Proud Lake Recreation Area in Commerce Twp, Michigan, when I found this Pine Warbler feeding and foraging in the pine forest.

Even if you are not a birder, get outdoors, talk a walk and listen to the chorus of singing birds as they fly about in the forest. You will enjoy a day like no other in the spring, when the warblers are in town, either for a short flight through, or a nesting bird, like this colorful Pine Warbler.

Read about my birding interview at the Oakland Press.
